I was shopping with my mother-in-law this weekend at a mall in Houston. I was kinda down because our budget it getting tighter and tighter by the day. So I could only window shop and dream about all the great things I was seeing! We were on the way out of JcPenney when I happened to see these great red shoes with pointy toes but they were flats! Fashionable, slimming, comfort and my favorite color for a shoe all rolled into one! I decided just to go peep at the price, halfway already decided that I would just have to walk away. To my total amazement there was a bright green price tag that clearly stated the price. My heart almost jumped out of my chest. $2.87!!! Read it again... $2.87!!! I immediately grabbed my size and headed towards the check out. Even the lady that checked me out couldn't believe that it was the actual price. That was not even the best part. I went home and layed down on my bed to read the newest Redbook magazine. Right there in the table of contents was a picture of my new shoes! They were featured again later in the magazine too! Not only did I get a great bargain but I got the fab find of the summer (Redbook backs me up on this one). I'm still excited. It just proves that you don't have to be filthy rich to be in fashion! I has also revived the love of a good bargain hunt within me.
